A name with meaning
Lineage Tree Care
Lineage Tree Care is more than just a name, it represents generations of knowledge, skill, and pride in arboriculture.

Our story begins in the early 1960s, when our grandfather, Peter Harcup, began working for the Crown Estate. His passion for trees laid the foundation for what would become a family legacy. That legacy was carried forward by Lewis’s father, Stevan Turnbull RVM, who dedicated over 40 years to the Crown Estate. Rising through the ranks to manage the Windsor tree division, Steve earned a Royal Victorian Medal in recognition of his service and commitment to excellence.

Steve was not only a respected figure in the industry, but also our mentor. He passed on his knowledge, standards, and work ethic to both of us—shaping the way we approach tree care today. Following in his footsteps, we have each built over 15 years of hands-on experience across both domestic and commercial arboriculture.

Today, Lineage Tree Care stands as the continuation of that journey, combining traditional values with modern standards. Even our Unimog, “Big Bull,” is named in Steve’s honour, a constant reminder of the legacy we carry forward in every job we undertake.
